The Norwegian Interviewer Who Took Down Blake Lively Is Trying To Come For Anne Hathaway
Hathahating is SOOOOO 2013
This country hates women.
This is something we’ve known since the dawn of time. Sure, women like Beyoncé and Moo Deng—who are perfect—exist, but there are even miserable wretches who hate them too! How much of a loser do you have to be to tweet something like this??? Girl go to hell.
Over a decade ago, Anne Hathaway received an insane amount of unmitigated hate when she committed the crime of being a beautiful woman who won an Oscar for an amazing performance in The Miserables. They even came up with a nickname for the people who hated her “Hathahaters” and like if that’s not a huge loser thing to do, I don’t know what is.
And now the Norwegian interviewer (not even gonna name her drop because she doesn’t deserve it!!!) who got Blake Lively cancelled (she didn’t really get cancelled, dragged I would say?), is trying to do the same thing to Anne Hathaway, and I for one am NOT having it!!! This interview from The Miserables press tour has now been circulating even though it’s over 10 years old
There was truly nothing wrong with what Anne Hathaway said. Could her tone have been nicer? Sure, but I also don’t think it’s right to ask an actress to perform FOR FREE. To be a woman is to perform!!! Y’all were so right about that!
And as it’s been circulating, Anne Hathaway graciously emailed her an apology. Like, I’m sorry, but she didn’t actually deserve an explanation. She didn’t deserve an apology. She didn’t deserve anything but a swift kick in the—you know what let me calm down, I don’t need her coming after ME next, because let’s face it, people already have the misogyny allegations out to get me even though I’m a literal angel.
Personally, I think we as a country, nay, as a social media online population, need to chill OUT with trying to dig up 10-year-old interviews of people having a bad press day. So much has happened in 10 years. An insurrection, Happy Endings was canceled, I mean literally what do you want us to do when it comes to someone who was going through it on a press day? What is the actual outcome of the outrage?
Should I have been saying this about Blake lively too? Sure, but the situation is different and she deserved all the hate she got actually on account of how she dresses. Plus, she got married on a plantation! There’s no coming back from that. Who does she think she is Reese Witherspoon?
Happy Endings being canceled is the real wrong that needs to be righted!!! Where’s the justice in this world?
I simply feel that it was great when she did it to Blake and terrible now that she’s doing it to Anne. Maybe I’m a hypocrite idk
