Anyway, over the weekend, I was insanely bored, and instead of watching one of many awards shows that aired, I chose to rewatch a theatrical masterpiece—no, not A Star Is Born (2018) or Brandy’s (also known as Rogers and Hammerstein’s) Cinderella (1997), I’m talking about 1999’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew—10 Things I Hate About You, which got me to thinking—Where have all the good romcoms gone?
