I know from the poll I did earlier this month that a lot of you didn’t re/read the book before this—y’all said um chile ANYWAYS so!—and to be honest, they changed a LOT of things in the movie, which I had already suspected, so guess what, you missed out! At any rate, as a bisexual queer black man of colour, I think it’s important to celebrate queer media, but that does have its limits. We shouldn’t accept just anything!
And just because we celebrate something, doesn’t mean we can’t have critiques about it. Just call me Amerie because one thing I’m always gonna have is a critique! So let’s get going!!!
