Today is Mother’s Day, and while I am eternally grateful for Julia Roberts—the ultimate mother, even though she was in a film called Mother’s Day that we daren’t speak of, wearing a wig that STILL haunts me to this day—I have to say, there a few other women who raised me, and turned me into the bisexual queer black man of colour I am today—The women of The First Wives Club.
