Bennifer's House Is Not A Home... But It IS Back on the Zillow Market
More like Zill-oh-no, amirite
I know y’all are probably like ENOUGH of the JLo stories! But girl, it’s not my fault things keep developing! For the last few weeks, news of the Bennifer Breakup has trickled across nearly every media website, and for the most part, it’s been largely unconfirmed.
That is, apart from Ben Affleck seen not wearing his wedding ring a few times, and JLo losing her shit when she was asked about the rumors during the press junket for her new film Atlas. I still maintain there’s a good reason things aren’t working out, cause you know who else don’t be wearing his wedding ring???? Which could mean nothing…
Anyway, just over a year ago, I covered their lengthy house hunt and subsequent house purchase (and also talked about some of my favourite Architectural Digest Home Tours)—but sadly, as 50 new images of the mansion hit Zillow, it looks like the house is back on the market, which could really only mean one thing. Jenny is moving to another block.
I always think about when they first got back together and it was just photos of her emerging from a boat or an apartment with fresh bed head, and you can tell they were just bumping and grinding every moment, of every hour, of every day because when you get back with someone who knows you so well, the sex is just GREAT.
But then you start to remember why you didn’t work out in the first place, and you’re left to wonder, do you quit now, or see if the same thing is going to happen. And that’s exactly what’s going through her head in this photo.
You know it was really a very Romeo and Juliet type situation—two households, both alike in dignity, but they’re from different worlds! Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus!!! Girls rule, boys drool or whatever!
And now that I mention it—some couples are just meant to be together without marriage. Maybe that messes things up? Look at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. They’ve been together since 1983, longer than I’ve been alive—they’ve never been married, AND he was the father who stepped up for her kids after their dirtbag ass daddy was a deadbeat.
I am very much a person who believes in the institution of marriage, it can be great, but I also believe in divorce and not suffering through an existence just to say you stayed married.
