I also love a rom-com and do think the genre was great during the 80s/90s. Anything with Meg Ryan I am a sucker for. In recent years, I did enjoy Set It Up (2018 film with Zoey Deutch & Glen Powell) and Love Hard (holiday movie with Nina Dobrev). But I agree, it's time to step it up with these movies.

I thought Set It Up was so fun!!! And Palm Springs. That one was great

I'll add Palm Springs to my to-be-watched list! What are your thoughts on Jennifer Aniston x Adam Sandler films? I don't love them, but I love THEM as in the actors lol

I mean—it’s very ancient comedy. They have good chemistry because they’re good friends, but it’s not gut-busting comedy

Right. I totally agree. I watch them because I love the two of them, but I think their funniest was Just Go With It. I liked that one a lot. Was not impressed by Murder Mystery. Where do you fall in the Adam & Jennifer or Adam & Drew debate? I've actually never seen 50 First Dates, so I can't weigh in!

I'm revealing my age here Meech as a list of best romcoms HAS to include 'Moonstruck' and 'Somethings Gotta Give'. xx

I agree! Except Something’s Gotta Give is Nancy’s only flop! Diane Keaton should have ended up with Keanu Reeves!!!!

Haha! Why do you think it flopped? Was it because Jack and Diane are 'older'. I 've tried to watch "It's Complicated" - so lame....
