For the last year or so, we were bombarded with outings of Ben looking exhausted and annoyed, and Jen looking like she was going to Gone Girl him at any moment if he didn’t straighten up and act right. In February she released her “documentary”, the accompanying “visual film” and This is Me… Now, her 22 year follow up to the album This is Me… Then.
You’d think things were on the up and up, but the flailing tickets sales of her concerts resulted in cancellations. Then… the couple seemingly faded from the tabloids until a few days ago when rumors of divorce started circulating and everyone realized they hadn’t been photographed/seen together in over 45 days amid reports Ben had already moved out. I guess you could say he was out on… The Town. (I’m really doing too much)

But, after rewatching Good Will Hunting last week—which, now that I mention it, you should absolutely do too, Robin Williams the man that you are!!!—it was clear to me, the only relationship in Ben’s life that will ever actually work is with Matt.
I mean—Matt Damon said it himself!
But also I think it’s so funny that he has her saved in his phone as “Jennifer Affleck” instead of like… Babe, or Honey—do people not do that?
It’s very evident that JLo reads all the news about her though, because after all this talk they were seen together and Ben still can’t hide his emotions. He’s trying so hard to crack a smile without the promise of Dunkin. Who knows, maybe it’s time for her Third Act???
I would bet that Ben has a more solidified bodega order too
Oh Dios mio… We won’t be able to handle what art we will have to endure from Jenn if this marriage divorces! I mean we barely survived “This is Me… After Sunset” as it is. There was Fat Joe playing a therapist and a Dickensian rose petal factory and a BTS doc and that’s when she had a happy ending. Can you imagine?? Maybe they can take some time apart and rehab this. Maybe Iyanla ?
